1. DISPATCH OF THE ORDER

 

Once you have placed an order on our website, our system will automatically send you an order confirmation email indicating the items you have ordered.

However, you enter into a binding contract of sale once you receive a dispatch notification email from us. Therefore, Oaki has the right to cancel your order in case of technical problems, non-delivery, fair use policy and other similar situations.

 

Choose your item and click ‘Add to cart’. In your basket, located at the top right, you will be able to see all the products you have selected. If all the items you want are in the cart, simply click on the ‘CHECKOUT’ button.

  1. Let yourself be guided until the payment is validated and fill in all your details: name, delivery address, etc.
  2. At checkout, you will be able to check all the products, as well as the total amount of the order, including shipping costs and taxes.
  3. Once you have entered all the information, click on ‘SELECT SHIPPING METHOD’.
  4. Check the shipping address, select the shipping method and continue by clicking on ‘SELECT PAYMENT METHOD’.
  5. Once you have entered your credit card details, click on the ‘VALIDATE ORDER’ button, you have just validated a contractual offer for the purchase of the items you have chosen.
  6. At this stage, your order must still be validated by our services. Once your order has been validated, we will request an authorisation form from your credit card company for the amount of your order. At this stage we do not deduct any amount from your card, but the amount may be blocked on your account. This is a normal process for credit card companies. If your credit card is not authorised, your order will not be processed and we will send you additional information by email.
  7. As soon as you have completed your order, you will receive a confirmation email which will include a link to the terms and conditions relating to your order.

 

2. SECURE PAYMENT

 

We accept: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit and Amex. We do not charge any commission for the use of the credit card. Please note that in no case can we charge more than you have authorised. Payment is processed by Shopify Payment, a secure and certified payment solution.

 

3. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

 

Shipping

 

Home delivery.

 

We offer delivery to EU countries (except Malta, Cyprus and the Canary Islands), as well as to some non-EU countries*. Below you will find an overview of the shipping costs:

 

United States

We offer free shipping on all orders with a total value of more than $20. If the total order value is less than $20, the shipping costs are $6,90.

 

International

*Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia included.

 

We offer free shipping on all orders with a total value of more than $90. If the total order value is less than $90, the shipping costs are $6,90.

 

Delivery time

- United States: 2-4 working days

- International: 4-7 working days

- Delivery times may be longer during sales and peak periods.

 

4. CANCELLATION

 

You can cancel your order as long as it has not left our warehouse. If you refuse the package at the time of delivery or if you do not present yourself at the collection point within 14 days, the order will be returned to us and the amount of the order will be refunded to you in full.

 

This means that you have 14 days after receipt of the goods to inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You can send an email to contact@oakishop.com using the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the end of the general terms and conditions of sale.

 

Cancellation of a part of the purchase

 

If you have purchased several items at the same time, you have the option to return only part of them.

Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded if you cancel part of the order.

 

5. RETURNS

 

Return of goods

 

If you have informed us that you are cancelling your purchase, you have 30 days to return the goods to us.

When returning the goods, you are responsible for the packaging of the goods. You assume the risk of the packaging and the goods until we receive them. Do not forget to keep the postal receipt and, for example, the tracking number.

 

The condition of the item when you return it

 

If the value of the item is low and the reason is that you have used the item beyond what is necessary to check the type and properties of the item and its functioning, you can only be refunded a part of the purchase price. The refundable amount depends on the market value of the item and, in some cases, only the shipping costs can be refunded.

 

We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the item.

 

Refund of the purchase price

 

If you cancel a purchase, you will of course be refunded the purchase price, including shipping costs. However, this does not apply in the following cases:

 

- If you have purchased several items in one order and have only returned part of them, the shipping costs will not be refunded.

 

- If you have chosen another, more expensive shipping method than the cheapest one we offer, you will not be reimbursed for the additional costs.

 

We will refund your payment without delay and in any case no later than 5 days after the day on which we have received your return request.

We will refund you by the same means of payment you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

If the goods are not in their original condition, we will deduct the amount for which you are responsible.

We may withhold payment until we have received the item, unless you send documentation to prove that you have returned the item.

 

6. OAKI ‘FAIR USE’ CLAUSE

 

If Oaki has a reasonable suspicion of abuse, fraud, excessive/pathological buying behaviour on the part of the customer, or that a customer is a professional trader with the express intention of reselling the items purchased from Oaki, we reserve the right to refuse the order by referring to this ‘fair use’ clause.

 

In this context, suspicion is based on a number of factors, non-discriminatory criteria, including a trade-off/weighting of frequency of purchase, combination of orders, combination of returns, use of free shipping and returns, late returns/unclaimed orders, suspicion of missing products in outgoing or incoming shipments, frequent returns (ordering and returning identical items multiple times), attempting to circumvent a previous rejection, use of a false/fraudulent identity. We emphasise that the behaviour is simultaneously systematic, not random or isolated.

 

If we recognise unacceptable shopping behaviour as described above, we reserve the right to refuse to transact with the customers in question and/or to pause the customers' ability to shop at Oaki in the future.

 

As in all cases, a transaction is only finally concluded with Oaki when we have sent an ‘order confirmation and receipt’.

 

In addition, offers and promotional items cannot be combined with other discounts and offers.

 

The ‘Fair Use’ clause does not prevent customers from returning, but may, in some cases, prevent customers from purchasing. Therefore, the ‘Fair Use’ clause does not apply to orders already accepted.

 

7. CLAIMS AND DEFECTIVE GOODS

 

At Oaki, we make every effort to provide you with top quality products in excellent condition. In the event of any problems upon receipt of the product or if the order received does not correspond to the order placed, please contact us immediately at contact@oakishop.com.

If your request concerns a defective item, please attach a photo to your message.

We will bear the cost of returning the items complained of.

 

8. HOW TO MAKE A COMPLAINT

9. PRIVACY POLICY

 

To validate your purchase of Oaki products, we ask for the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address

 

We store your personal information for the sole purpose of delivering items to you.

We use third party systems at Google to analyse the behaviour of our visitors. In addition, we use Mailchimp, Shopify and Business Central. These companies use personal information only on our behalf and are not authorised to disclose it or use it for their own purposes.

Personal information recorded as part of your order on Shopify will be retained for five years before being deleted.

At oakishop.com, Oaki is responsible for the data.

All information provided by you is used solely by us to provide you with the best possible shopping experience. All such information is strictly confidential and complies with consumer and data protection regulations.

As a registered person, you have the right to object to this registration. In addition, you have the right to inspect the information registered about you. You may request the deletion of your personal data at any time.
