Oaki, a wonderful and relatively new brand of wooden toys and gifts, has launched its stunning 2022 catalogue, featuring stylish designs in fresh, Scandinavian tones that showcase the beauty of natural wood.

 

Duck egg blue, dove grey and old pink are typical of the palette that designer Raquel Aparicio uses for Oaki range of mini kitchens and dolls' houses. The subtle colours make it easy to add and combine different sets.

 

Oaki uses only high quality reclaimed wood for its toys. The fresh colours and patterns left by the varnished wood contribute to the natural feel and look of the toys. ‘It is important to show the quality of the wood and the smooth finish of the toys,’ says Raquel. ‘Oaki really values the natural resources that go into their products.’

 

Oaki wooden toys are beautiful on the outside and durable on the inside. The wood used in Oaki toys comes from its Indonesian supplier, which only works with reclaimed wood. It redoubles its commitment to contribute to reforestation in Indonesia by replanting one tree for every reclaimed tree it uses. In addition, its distributors are partners of the international organisation Eden Reforestation Projects, with which they plant 10 trees for every order placed.
